ShoeSeen.com is a resource for shoe enthusiasts who want to see what women in NYC are wearing, quickly browse the latest in footwear fashion and want to share their favorite shoes with other aficionados. I started this site because I love shoes. I have a closet full of shoes, all of which I love and the majority of which are black. What can I say; you can never have too many pairs of black shoes, right?

You’ll agree, I’m sure, that shoes either make or break an outfit. I can’t count how many times a week I put on an outfit only to change the whole thing because I can’t find the perfect shoes. I like to consider myself a fashionable person who gets ideas from magazines and runways, but I must admit that I can seldom bring myself to wear some of the extreme fashions found in either.

The idea for this site came to me when I realized that there is so much inspiration from looking at what REAL women wear and how they express their own style. NYC is the perfect place for finding the latest trends in women’s fashion, especially shoes.

You can find every style, color, and designer imaginable in this city. I’m not just talking about the chic boutiques on 8th street or the gigantic shoe department at Saks with its own ZIP code, I’m talking about millions of women who live and work in this city with amazing taste.

I started stopping women on the street to ask them who made their shoes and where they got them. My husband pointed out that I probably wasn’t the only one looking for inspiration outside of the tabloids and runways. So, I started this site so women all over the world can see what women are wearing in the most fashion forward city in America.
