Designer Shoe Trends- 80s Fashion Is Back!

The 80s are alive and well in 2009! If you've been living under
a rock you might have missed the trend of 80s fashion
taking over the runways, stores and streets so let us fill you
in. The trend started slowly with leggings and retro Ray-Bans
(think Tom Cruise in Risky Business); then legwarmers snuck onto
the scene followed by leather jackets. Now the 80s fashion
trend is in full swing with shoulder pads, lace gloves and
80s style booties (even Madonna has made herself relevant
again). The fashion world has a tendency to "reinvent" itself by looking to the past for inspiration. Recreating fashion trends that were a hit the first time around usually guarantees a successful comeback. The trend has been introduced in segments making it easily accepted by the public, mostly teens, who will take the retro styles and make them their own. A good rule to follow when it comes to trends- if you were there the first time don't try it again. Now lets focus on the shoes!
