Sole Commerce: Sneak Peek at Fall 2010 shoes

ShoeSeen.com was at the Sole Commerce trade show where
hundreds of shoe manufacturers previewed their Fall/Winter
2010 collections. The Javits Center in NYC played host to
thousands of buyers, editors and press who were there
deciding what you will be wearing next Fall. Don't worry the
selection was top notch, rest assured your footsies will be
well heeled come August, when most of the collections will
be in-stores.

Nude Footwear This Aussie brand is available stateside at Piperlime.com and starting in August you can get your shoe-loving little hands on the Winter 2010 collection. From what we could see, the materials are medium quality (the prices reflect this) but the designs earn high marks. The 'Jessica' studded brogue bootie has character and mixes a little of the masculinity trend with a lot of sexy pump. Other hot trends include: studs, cut-outs, lace-ups and urban-chicness. With prices starting at $80, Nude Footwear has legs.

Report Signature This brand is a favorite among young fashionable women who like a sexy shoe but don't want to pay outrageous prices. High heels are the bread and butter of this brand so don't expect to see many flats, except for the 'Tyler' oxford with a sparkling touch! Upon entering the Report Signature booth, our eyes were immediately drawn to the satin and stone booties that glistened like diamonds! Then we picked-up a lace-up half-bootie half-sandal creation that was as oddly magnificent as a Centaur. Heads were spinning as our attention turned to the urban-hiker wedges, the caged pumps with rubber soles, the western inspired booties, the ankle-strap fur sandals; it was all too much to take in! Back at the office we had time to analyze the photos and take a closer look at the collection. Here are our favorites. You can get Report Signature's Fall 2010 collection at just about any on-line retailer in late Summer.

Suecomma Bonnie This brand out of Seoul has been hand-making magnificent footwear since 2003. Currently the brand isn't sold West of Champs-Élysées but their showing at Sole Commerce is a sign that they're serious about expanding into the US market. Hurray!!! Anyway, our knees buckled when we first saw the Suecomma Bonnie booth. We'd heard of the brand, seen photos and read blogs about the enchanting designs and euphoric smell of luxurious leather, but up to that moment it had been our unicorn of shoes. Alas, there we were holding a cut-out suede bootie with the signature Suecomma Bonnie hot pink sole, and boy was it hot! The quality is high end and the attention to detail is unmatched. Even the shoe boxes are above the rest with design sketches colorfully painted on every side. Run to your favorite boutique and demand some Suecomma Bonnie!!!
