Derek Lam

Derek Lam’s spring 11 shoes were all about platforms. The chunky wooden 2-3” platform soles were offset by the soft leather upper straps. The other sandals introduced throughout the show were simple traditional ankle-strap sandals with subtle variations as well as leather closed-toe pumps. Over all the extreme platforms really stood out and will definitely be in stores everywhere next spring.
